Klangkraft Orchestra, Duisburg-Germany is excited to host its second annual Masterclass on the 28th of September 2019, after our very successful “Mozart Magic Flute Overture Workshop” in 2018. 

The 2nd edition, along with intensive work and feedback sessions from the orchestra and jury, will award three candidates the opportunity to perform with the orchestra in this 2019/20 season.

Das Klangkraft Orchester, Duisburg freut sich – nach dem sehr erfolgreichen „Workshop Mozart Ouvertüre zur Zauberflöte” in 2018 – euch am 28. September 2019 die zweite Master Class zu präsentieren.

Zusätzlich zu der gemeinsamen Arbeit und Feedback von Orchester und Jury ist es unser Ziel dieses Jahr drei Kandidaten auszuwählen, die gemeinsam mit dem Orchester ein Konzert in der Saison 2019/20 gestalten.

What we offer

  • 60 minutes of total podium time
  • Semi-Finalists receive 20 Minutes of podium time to conduct AND rehearse
  • Finalists receives 40 mins of Podium time to conduct AND rehearse
  • Open group feedback session for each candidate with jury
  • Lunch for all candidates with the complete Klangkraft Orchestra & feedback upon request from all orchestral members
  • All sessions will be video recorded & available for each participant to download his/her own videos following the end of the competition.
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize winners will work with the Klangkraft Team and Chief Conductor to build on the tradition of the Klangkraft Family Christmas Concert.

Was wir bieten

  • Insgesamt 60 Minuten an Podiumszeit
  • Halbfinalisten erhalten 20 Minuten zum Dirigieren UND Einstudieren
  • Die Finalisten erhalten weitere 40 Minuten zum Dirigieren UND Einstudieren
  • Offenes Gruppen-Feedback für jeden Kandidaten
  • Mittagessen für alle Kandidaten mit dem kompletten Klangkraft Orchester & auf Wunsch eine Feedbackmöglichkeit von allen Orchestermitgliedern
  • Alle Dirigate werden aufgezeichnet. Nach dem Wettbewerb kann jeder Teilnehmer sein eigenen Mitschnitt downloaden.
  • Die Gewinner der Plätze 1 bis 3 werden, zusammen mit den Klangkraft-Team und Hauptdirigenten, in die Planungen am traditionellen Klangkraft Weihnachtskonzert eingebunden.
